|Elizabeth Taylor and her then-husband Senator John Warner, are
escorted by Joe Carvajal to the head table for a luncheon meeting
of the National Association of Government Communicators,
Washington, D.C., June 28, 1977.
Carvajal was at the time National President of the NAGC, and
Taylor was the main speaker at the luncheon. Her topic was
"Better Government Through Better Communication," and her
speech was delivered to an overflow audience of more than 300
people. Carvajal retained an audio tape of the event, which was
broadcast on a local D.C. radio station.
