Jack Albertson
Jack Albertson, star of TV show Chico and the Man, was featured in a

West Coast directors Carvajal used
frequently for his series of Federal
government documentary films and
PSAs.  Jack Albertson is holding

conservation PSA they're getting ready
to shoot.  Carvajal also hired Ron Joy
as Assistant Director (for West Coast
filming) of "Solar Energy," an
award-winning documentary starring
Eddie Albert.   Robert Johnson, from
WMAL-TV  in D.C., was the film's
primary director.

Jack Albertson was the original Willie Clark in
1972, when Neil Simon's "The Sunshine
Boys" opened on Broadway.  In 1978, he and
Joe Carvajal worked on this PSA.  In October
of 2005, Carvajal directed a production of
"The Sunshine Boys" for the Brevard Little
Theatre, in the mountains of Western North
