| That's Hollywood film director Ron Joy on the right in this color slide by Tom Healey. Ron was one of the West Coast directors Carvajal used frequently for his series of Federal government documentary films and PSAs. Jack Albertson is holding Carvajal's script for the energy conservation PSA they're getting ready to shoot. Carvajal also hired Ron Joy as Assistant Director (for West Coast filming) of "Solar Energy," an award-winning documentary starring Eddie Albert. Robert Johnson, from WMAL-TV in D.C., was the film's primary director. |
