Bayou Lafourche
(upstream, at Lockport)
As it nears the Gulf of Mexico,
downstream towards LaRose
and other fishing villages,
Bayou Lafourche widens out to
become  a major shipping
channel for fleets of shrimp
boats, tied up at docks in front
of the owners' homes.
Here are a few photos of a group visit to Aunt Mabel in Lockport, taken a
