The Port Tobacco Players first staged this Rogers & Hammerstein musical in 1972, at
the high school auditorium, just before taking possession of the PTP Theater.  In 1992,
when the show was done again, this time in the PTP Theater, some of the lead actors
from the '72 production were in the opening-night audience.  After the performance,
they were invited up onstage, where these 35 mm snapshots were taken.


Lead actors from the 1972 production.  Joe Carvajal (second
from left, standing) played Lt. Joseph Cable (who sings
Younger Than Springtime, You've Got To Be Taught" and a
reprise of Bali Ha'i.
