Vintage (1920s) photo of one of the fleet of Bisso ferry boats that serviced three of
the four New Orleans/West Bank ferry landings.  These old Bisso Company ferry
boats were in use right on through the 1940s and into the early '50s.  When not in
use, or being repaired, they were all docked near the Audubon Park landing,
opposite Westwego.  That large docking area also featured a number of ancient
Mississippi River steamboats, and it provided a spectacular sight for kids on their
way to Audubon Park from the West Bank area.
